  • The wait is over. The Tampa Bay Rays won their first AL East title late Friday night when the Boston Red Sox lost to the New York Yankees. The Rays lost 6-4 to the Detroit Tigers earlier and had to sit through the rain-delayed Boston loss before celebrating their championship. Manager Joe Maddon and a few of the players remained in the clubhouse at Comerica Park to watch the Red Sox game.


  • A mop-up reliever and a one-time top prospect who has lost his starting job helped the Milwaukee Brewers gain control their own playoff destiny again. Rickie Weeks hit a three-run homer in the seventh, Seth McClung pitched four scoreless innings in relief and the Brewers rallied to beat the Chicago Cubs 5-1 on Friday night for their fifth straight win and the lead in the NL wild-card race.


  • It's all slipping away for the New York Mets again. With a listless loss to the Florida Marlins on Friday night, New York relinquished control of its playoff fate. After you pass Spring Cypress look for TIMBERTECH turn Right.

GLEANNLOCH FIELD


To get to the ballfields complex go North on
Champion Forest Drive (from Spring-Cypress Road).
Continue North until you dead-end into Northpoint Drive.
Turn right (East) and at the next dead-end turn left.
The ballfields will be on your left (parking in front by the pool).

KLEIN HIGH FIELD


Area Map - The Gleannloch Farms Community is north
of Spring-Cypress Road at Champion Forest Drive.

At Gleannloch Farms the field Closest to the street is Tomball Ford Field, the field in back Williams Kherkher, and the largest field is CHASE Yards.
