Last night I witnessed something you don't see often in 10 U Baseball.
Typically a 10 U baseball game consists of a lot of scoring due to inexperienced players getting experience under their belts.
In a game filled with 9 year olds playing in a 10 year old League Cade Farragut pitched two innings of Three up, Three down baseball.
He was throwing Strikes like nobody's business.
The first two batters were the last two in the line-up but the he also struck out their lead-off batter to end the 2nd inning.
In the third inning he had his work cut out for him but his fast ball proved to be greater than their batting skills.
He struck out the first batter with his blazing fast ball. The second batter popped out to him then their "Clean-up" hitter struck out swinging to another streaking fast ball.
It was truly a night for the record books. Congratulations to Cade and his family. You should be proud of yourself.
