  • Brett Favre was listed as questionable Friday for the New York Jets' game against Arizona with a sore left ankle, but is expected to start against the Cardinals. The 38-year-old quarterback twisted his left ankle Monday night in New York's loss at San Diego. His ankle was tightly wrapped, but he appeared hardly hobbled during the half-hour of practice the media were allowed to watch Friday.
  • Donovan McNabb returned to practice Friday, but the Eagles could be without Brian Westbrook for Sunday's game at the Chicago Bears. McNabb was a full participant in Friday's practice after sitting out all week with a chest contusion he sustained in the first half of last week's 15-6 win over Pittsburgh.
  • The Houston Texans will play their home opener against Indianapolis on Oct. 5 in hurricane-damaged Reliant Stadium with the roof open. The stadium's retractable roof lost five pieces in the storm and officials said large pieces of debris had fallen into the stadium during Hurricane Ike. K-2nd Grade Youth 7 Man

Jersey Day Thursday 9/25

Wear your jersey to school on Thursday September 25th! Show your team spirit and brighten up the day!

I hope your family made it through the storm OK . I know it has been a tough road for many of the families. Some have had some extensive damage to their homes.

It has been AMAZING seeing the community pull together. The Farm league pulls from a pocket of Klein, Tomball, and Cy-fair. The stories I am hearing and everything I saw over the past few days is awesome. It solidifies my thoughts that there is NO BETTER place to live! ! After the storm people got out, picked up the mess, helped their neighbors, and then went out and found others that may need assistance. The Saints coaches were driving around with a chain saw looking for stuff to cut up . Thanks guys!! yall were a life saver on my trees !! Families offering up food, drinks, and the ones that had power-- their homes . I am a cup half full guy ; I know the storm STUNK and there are some awful things that happened in Galveston which will take years to fix. However, people getting to connect with their kids, spouses, their friends, and not have the distraction of the internet , video games, and TV was actually a good thing. One parent made a good point -- we may end up with a baby boom 9 months from now ! Most of our local area looks like a storm wasn't even here except for some piles of branches. Power is coming back, gas stations are opening, grocery stores have food, restaurants are open, and people are going back to work. It has only been a few days since it hit, amazing what the people of Houston can accomplish.

I hope your lives are getting back to normal .

It's times like these were we all learn what is truly important in life .
