• Bengals don't say why Ocho Cinco was out (AP)

  The Cincinnati Bengals failed to explain why Chad Ocho Cinco, the wide receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson, was held out for violating team rules during their 27-10 loss in Pittsburgh on Thursday night. The decision to bench Ocho Cinco was announced about 10 hours before kickoff and the Bengals said they would give more details after the game, but coach Marvin Lewis declined to discuss it.

  
  
• 49ers' Martz fined for criticizing refs (AP)
  San Francisco offensive coordinator Mike Martz has been fined $20,000 by the NFL for his criticism of the officiating at the end of the 49ers' 29-24 loss in Arizona. Martz said the team had been "screwed" by the officiating crew when the ball was spotted at the 2 1/2 -yard line for the final play of the game after a replay of a run on the previous snap by Frank Gore.
