Seadogs step up to the plate with a cancer research fundraiserMarch 14, 2010 TFL Sea Dogs step up to the plate for cancer research THERE IS A TON OF GOOD STUFF LITTLE LEAGUE TEAMS DO ON AND OFF THE FIELD. VERY PROUD WE HAVE SOME VERY ACTIVE TEAMS IN OUR LEAGUE . GREAT JOB BOYS !!!!!!!!!!!! On February 27th 2009 the 10U Sea Dogs held a baseball camp dedicated to raising funds for cancer research and the 09' season. Each player selected sponsors to support their fund raising efforts in each of the 4 baseball skill events. The Sea Dog team will donate 50% of their proceeds towards cancer research while utilizing the remainder of the funds towards the equipment and batting cage needs for the 09' season. The 10U Sea Dog team through their efforts raised $1,270.00 for The Memorial Herman Foundation which will go towards cancer research
