TFL’S Basketball Bootcamp is based on skills & drills, using the NBA Junior Model. Come out have fun learning how to dribble, pass & shoot the TFL Basketball way!!!! Parents & Coaches, prepare your basketball players to be more competitive with basic skills and drills to improve their level of basketball play, IQ & confidence. Our camps are constructed to give basketball players fundamentals in a clean, fun, safe environment, which is TFL. TFL’S Basketball Bootcamp is geared towards players of all skill levels with a focus on: * Active dynamic warm-ups, no-static stretching, conditioning basketball running, calisthenics-muscle building exercises, mobility-agility drills. * Ball skills-ball-control-security- handling-dribbling, passing, cutting to & away from the basket etc. * Offensive & Defensive general drills, multiple offensive & defensive stances, basketball play recognition & movement, boxing out - rebounding. * Shooting drills - layups, & jump shots. * Team & Individual positional play & movement.

SUMMER PRACTICES:

MAY: PRE-SEASON - practices are during the week & weekend (same as WINTER, 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 & 8:30, when on weekdays).

JUNE & JULY: IN-SEASON - practices are Saturdays & Sundays, games are Sun-Fri

SUMMER GAMES:

GAMES played during the week (Sunday evening through Friday evening). There are no games on July 4th. The season will end mid-July.

Season start and end dates are subject to change due to weather, outside field issues, or acts of God. These incidents could change without notice due to events beyond our control. Any delay may cause the game schedule to be changed from the original posted at the beginning of the season.

Basketball is a great sport AND it is an excellent way to help with physical fitness. There is no other sport that uses every muscle like basketball.

We have grade specific divisions based on the 2024-2025 school year. This league is for players who play multiple sports that would also like to play basketball. Please visit our FAQ page for more information.

SCHEDULE SYNC

There are 3 ways parents can view the schedule and their field locations. A) go to "Standings" tab and click their team name B) go to the "Calendar" tab and select the date and see everything going on at the park that day C) Subscribe to your team. "Schedule Sync" is where you can select your team name and click subscribe - and you are done. All your team info will be sent to Outlook, any calendar program, or your phone. This is an excellent way you can keep up with the team throughout the year. Anything that changes on the master schedule is automatically updated on your calendar.
